Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager in our Mechanical & Electrical team due to significant growth in our Projects Division. You will oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects within the building and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and delivering high-quality results to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple HVAC projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, managing budgets, resources and timelines to meet project objectives
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues and challenges that may impact project delivery, and implement effective strategies to address them
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
  • Lead and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC & Electrical industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex HVAC projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, technologies and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
  • Membership or accreditation with a professional industry body (e.g. AIRAH, HVAC&R Society)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members

About the role

We are looking for a positive and motivated Junior Administrator to join our Operations Support team. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who is organised, enjoys helping others, and wants to build a career in administration and workforce scheduling.

The role will provide general office and operational administration support while developing the systems knowledge, customer service skills, and planning capability needed to progress into a Workforce Scheduler position. You will work closely with our Scheduling Team Leader, Workforce Schedulers, Technicians, Service Managers, and other support teams to help keep day-to-day operations running smoothly.

You do not need extensive experience. We are looking for someone with the right attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong focus on accuracy and customer service.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor shared inboxes and assist with allocating or actioning incoming requests
  • Support schedulers with job preparation, work order updates, customer confirmations, and routine planning activities
  • Create and update service requests, customer details, job notes, and workflow information in relevant systems
  • Respond professionally to phone and email enquiries and direct matters to the appropriate person
  • Follow up outstanding information, documentation, timesheets, and completion evidence
  • Maintain accurate records, spreadsheets, filing, and document control
  • Provide general reception, office, and administrative support to branch and operational teams
  • Assist with onboarding, company assets, uniforms, fleet, phones, tablets, tools, and equipment administration
  • Support supplier and subcontractor bookings, purchase order requests, and documentation follow-up
  • Complete required training and progressively take on simple scheduling responsibilities as your capability develops

 

About You

 

You do not need to be the finished product. We are looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn, comfortable asking questions, and interested in developing their career within a busy service-based environment.

You are likely to have:

  • Previous administration, customer service, reception, or other general work experience
  • Basic Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Good organisation skills and the ability to manage routine tasks and deadlines
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accurate data entry
  • Clear written and verbal communication with a professional phone manner
  • Confidence learning new systems, processes, and ways of working
  • A positive attitude and willingness to support the wider team
  • The ability to remain calm and adaptable when priorities change
  • An interest in workforce planning, service coordination, or developing into a scheduling role
  • Experience within a trades, maintenance, facilities, or service-based environment would be advantageous but is not essential. Exposure to ERP or field service systems such as SAP or FSM would also be highly regarded.

Summary:

The Building Optimisation Specialist plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficiency and sustainability of building operations within the construction industry. Based in Sydney, this permanent, full-time position focuses on implementing innovative strategies to optimise building performance, reduce energy consumption, and improve occupant comfort. The specialist will collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure that building systems operate at peak efficiency, conduction routine Service, Maintenance and Installation as and when required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of building systems to identify optimisation opportunities.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance energy efficiency and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to integrate optimisation solutions into new and existing projects.
  • Monitor and analyse building performance data to track improvements and identify further enhancements.
  • Provide training and support to facility management teams on best practices for building optimisation.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and technologies related to building performance and sustainability.

Qualifications:

  • Trade qualification in HVAC or Electrical
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in building optimisation, BMS, Building Automation or similar in Service, Maintenance & Installation
  • Strong understanding of building systems, including HVAC, lighting, and controls.
  • Experience with Niagara (certification preferred but not necessary

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HVAC Project Manager in our Mechanical & Electrical team due to significant growth in our Projects Division. You will oversee and manage all aspects of HVAC projects within the building and construction industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of professionals, ensuring project timelines and budgets are met, and delivering high-quality results to clients.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of multiple HVAC projects, coordinating with clients, subcontractors and internal teams to ensure timely and efficient project delivery
  • Develop and implement detailed project plans, managing budgets, resources and timelines to meet project objectives
  • Identify and mitigate risks, issues and challenges that may impact project delivery, and implement effective strategies to address them
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders, providing regular updates and managing expectations
  • Lead and mentor junior project managers, providing guidance and support to develop their skills and capabilities
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our project management processes and procedures

What we're looking for

  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience as a Project Manager in the HVAC & Electrical industry
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering complex HVAC projects, with a strong understanding of construction methods, technologies and industry best practices
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships
  • Proficient in the use of project management software and tools, with a keen eye for detail and strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Construction Management or a related field
  • Membership or accreditation with a professional industry body (e.g. AIRAH, HVAC&R Society)
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and mentor junior team members
