With more than three decades of high-level management experience across the commercial, industrial, institutional, and health sectors, Joe has a proven track record of strategic and financial leadership, including his tenure as State Manager of T. O’Connor’s / Environ and board member for James Hardie Building Services’ national mechanical services division. His career achievements include expanding businesses by over 500% and serving three years as President of the Air-conditioning Mechanical Contractors Association of WA.

David is the Regional Contracts & Engineering Manager of the Envar Group of Companies, where he has been a key contributor since 1997. With three decades of industry experience, including qualifications as a Mechanical Fitter and a Certificate in Mechanical Engineering, David leads Envar Engineers & Contractors’ special projects division. He has successfully delivered a wide spectrum of mechanical services and HVAC projects, from small, straightforward jobs to large-scale, complex undertakings. His leadership ensures that all projects across Envar’s integrated construction, service, and fabrication businesses meet the highest standards of quality and execution.

Tyrone is the General Manager of Airparts Fabrication, part of the Envar Group of Companies, with a career spanning over 40 years in the HVAC and sheetmetal industries. Starting as an apprentice with Sandovers O’Connor in 1979, he earned the prestigious title of Western Australia’s “Apprentice of the Year” in 1980. By 1989, he was leading T. O’Connor & Sons’ sheetmetal workshop, managing more than 40 tradesmen, workers, and apprentices. In 1999, Tyrone was invited by Envar’s Directors to re-establish their sheetmetal and general fabrication division, which has since delivered high-quality ductwork, air handling units, VAV boxes, and a wide range of HVAC-related fabrication for projects across multiple sectors.

Deidre Bergen has been an integral part of Envar since 1994, bringing decades of financial expertise and leadership to the business. As Finance Manager, she plays a key role in overseeing all financial operations, including month-end and year-end reporting, and ensures projects are assessed for profitability and long-term sustainability.

Known for her thorough approach and deep institutional knowledge, Deidre also manages the day-to-day administration of Envar’s financial systems. Her commitment to accuracy and efficiency continues to support the company’s growth and operational success.

Jack Miller brings over two decades of industry experience to his role as Commercial Manager at Envar, where he has been a key contributor since 2012. With a strong foundation as an HVAC engineering tradesperson, Jack combines practical field knowledge with academic expertise to guide the company’s commercial strategy and risk management.

His role encompasses contract negotiation, dispute resolution, executive reporting, and claims management—ensuring Envar’s commercial operations run smoothly and strategically. Jack holds degrees in Construction Management and Economics from Curtin University, and a postgraduate qualification in Construction Law from the University of Melbourne, equipping him with a deep understanding of both project delivery and legal frameworks.

Blair is a highly experienced Regional Services Manager with over 30 years in the HVAC industry, known for delivering tailored solutions and managing complex projects from start to finish. With a hands-on, results-driven approach, Blair ensures each division of the service department operates efficiently and to the highest standard. He excels in client relationships, technical expertise, and clear communication. Outside of work, Blair enjoys family time, planning travel adventures, and indulging his passion for classic cars.

Mathew Callaghan is the Operations Manager at Envar Engineers & Contractors, bringing decades of experience in mechanical services, project delivery, and operational leadership across large-scale commercial and government projects. Known for his hands-on approach, strategic oversight, and commitment to quality, Mathew ensures projects are delivered efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. He plays a key role in mentoring teams, driving continuous improvement, and maintaining strong client relationships across all aspects of the business.

Ron is an Estimating Manager at Envar Engineers & Contractors, with over three decades of continuous service and a proven track record in securing multi-million-dollar HVAC contracts across a wide range of sectors. Specialising in the preparation, submission, and negotiation of detailed, commercially robust tenders, he has been instrumental in winning major projects in commercial developments, tertiary education, health and aged care, hospitality, laboratories, mining, aquatic centres, geothermal systems, and defence infrastructure. His comprehensive knowledge of mechanical services, market conditions, and project requirements—paired with a strategic and analytical estimating approach—has consistently enabled Envar to secure high-value, technically complex projects throughout Western Australia.

Martin O’Donovan is a highly experienced Senior Project Manager at Envar Engineers & Contractors, specialising in the delivery of large-scale mechanical and HVAC projects across Western Australia. With a strong background in construction management, contractual negotiations, and technical system integration, Martin is known for his structured, detail-driven approach and commitment to quality outcomes. He consistently delivers complex projects through strategic planning, stakeholder coordination, and a deep understanding of prefabrication methodologies, compliance standards, and energy-efficient design.

Graham joined Envar in 2020 and leads the engineering team with a focus on compliance, quality, and design excellence. As Engineering Manager, he is responsible for overseeing engineering design and due diligence to ensure alignment with the National Construction Code (NCC) and Australian Standards. He also manages equipment selection, submission processes, and engineering training across the team.

Graham plays a key role in maintaining quality assurance across both engineering and drafting outputs, contributing to the success of projects ranging from complex healthcare facilities to major commercial and public infrastructure. His project portfolio includes the Square Kilometre Array Observatory, Perth Airport, Fiona Stanley Hospital, and CSIRO’s Perth Precinct Laboratories.

Known for his attention to detail and collaborative approach, Graham helps drive technical performance across Envar’s operations, ensuring every project meets both regulatory and client expectations.

Mark Lindsay has been a key member of the Envar team since 2015, leading the service department’s day-to-day operations with a strong focus on contract management, team leadership, and client satisfaction. His role includes overseeing contract renewals, coordinating service maintenance tenders, and managing both the service team and apprentices.

Mark plays a vital part in ensuring the delivery of high-quality maintenance outcomes across a range of commercial and institutional sites. He has contributed to the successful management of service contracts at prominent locations such as QV1, Crown Perth, Exchange Tower, and Hollywood Hospital.

With a hands-on leadership style and a commitment to operational excellence, Mark continues to drive Envar’s reputation for reliable, efficient service delivery across its extensive client base.

Rob Birch has been a cornerstone of the Envar team since 1996, bringing nearly three decades of hands-on industry experience to his leadership of the projects division. With trade certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning and a Diploma in Refrigeration and Airconditioning Engineering, Rob brings deep technical expertise to every project he oversees.

He manages end-to-end project delivery—from planning through to completion—while maintaining strong, long-term client relationships. Rob is particularly skilled in delivering complex refurbishments within live operational environments, where precision and minimal disruption are key to success.

Rob has played a leading role in high-impact projects such as the Exchange Plaza Central Energy Chiller Plant Replacement, QV1’s extensive EC fan and AHU upgrade, and the Allendale Square Central Plant Upgrade, consistently delivering outcomes that meet both performance and client expectations.

Daniel Davis is a qualified HVAC-R Engineering Tradesperson who brings deep technical knowledge and a strong service background across mechanical systems in commercial environments. Since joining Envar in 2012, he has managed a portfolio of high-profile sites including premium commercial buildings, shopping centres, and hotels.

He works closely with clients to ensure consistent performance, compliance, and comfort across their assets, while supporting initiatives that drive energy efficiency and operational cost savings.

Driven by a strategic mindset, Daniel is passionate about developing tailored maintenance programs that align with each client’s operational requirements and long-term asset goals. He also plays a key role in coordinating specialist service partners, bringing them together under a unified, head contractor-style approach to streamline delivery and ensure accountability from start to finish.

Margie Brazier has been a valued member of the Envar team since 2011, playing a vital role in managing payroll and supporting both the finance and administration functions. With a strong focus on operational efficiency, Margie ensures that day-to-day business processes run smoothly across the organisation.

In addition to her financial responsibilities, Margie facilitates recruitment and provides key HR support across the Envar Group. Her approachable style, attention to detail, and deep understanding of internal systems make her a trusted point of contact for staff and leadership alike.

Since joining Airparts in 2009, Sunny has been a cornerstone of our fabrication team. As Second in Charge of Airparts Fabrication, he oversees a dedicated crew of six, producing bespoke ductwork and ancillary components that support HVAC projects across diverse industries. Sunny works closely with the drafting department, site managers, project managers, and suppliers to ensure precision, quality, and smooth project delivery. With a Light Metal Fabrication Trade Certificate, he brings strong technical expertise and practical know-how to the workshop floor.

Beyond his role at Airparts, Sunny enjoys painting and drawing, as well as four-wheel driving and exploring the outback. Married and building a family, he balances his professional leadership with a love of adventure and creativity.

Luke Hepton has been with Envar since 2012, leading the Drafting and Coordination team with a focus on precision, collaboration, and innovation. He manages the drafting and shop drawing department, oversees BIM management, and plays a central role in coordinating building services on major construction projects.

With a strong background in design integration and project coordination, Luke has contributed to a number of iconic developments including Crown Towers Perth, the New Museum of WA, Capital Square 3, and multiple stages of the Elizabeth Quay precinct. His expertise ensures seamless alignment between design and delivery across complex builds.

Luke’s commitment to high standards and forward-thinking coordination has made him a trusted leader on high-profile commercial, healthcare, and hospitality projects across Australia.

Since joining Envar in 2017, Steve Maher has led the Commissioning and Completions team with a practical, hands-on approach. As Commissioning & Completions Manager, Steve oversees the delivery and handover of building services systems, ensuring that every project is commissioned to the highest standards and fully aligned with client expectations.

Steve’s role spans from onsite commissioning management and project meetings to coordinating maintenance, warranty interaction, and engineering support. He plays a pivotal role in managing the commissioning team and maintaining specialised equipment that supports quality outcomes across a wide range of projects.

With experience across complex builds such as Capital Square Towers, Equinix PEII Data Centre, the WA Museum, and Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, Steve brings deep technical insight and a collaborative mindset to each project he helps bring to completion.

Jordan Kirkup joined Envar in 2021 and plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy, efficiency, and compliance of project administration and document control processes. As Senior Project Administration & Document Controller, Jordan supervises the documentation team, oversees version control systems, and ensures project records meet both company and client standards.

With a strong focus on quality and coordination, Jordan manages everything from project claims and financial reporting to safety documentation, procurement tracking, and audit preparation. He is known for driving process improvements that enhance workflow efficiency and reporting accuracy across Envar’s major construction and engineering projects.

Jordan has supported a wide range of high-profile projects including the Square Kilometre Array Observatory, Perth Airport, ECU Perth City Campus, and the CSIRO Pawsey Supercomputer. His attention to detail and collaborative mindset make him a key contributor to the successful delivery of complex projects.
