Envar’s in-house workforce carries out both the technically demanding and labour intensive aspects of all Mechanical Services installation tasks, this maximises our control of the construction process. Where we do sub-contract, Envar’s quality standards dictate that we select suppliers and specialists with whom we have a long-standing relationship. Envar’s in-house electrical and controls team are proficient in all mechanical services building management system installation, service and maintenance. Not only does our team have a comprehensive understanding of all third party systems but they also have the ability to develop and implement their own D.D.C and B.M.S systems. Many clients have turned to Envar when it becomes apparent that their B.M.S system is not operating to its full potential. Overhauling a poorly operating system allows us to identify, repair and refine the controls; resulting in a more effective and efficient system. Creating a more effective and efficient system for our clients drives long term savings in regards to minimising energy and water usage of plant, something we see as not only beneficial to the end user but is also a valuable tool in decreasing global emissions.

A core element of the Envar Group infrastructure is Airparts, consisting of a 2000sqm fabrication workshop utilising latest technology and processes specialising in sheet metal work, general and pre fabrication. Here we manufacture a range of high-quality mechanical services components which are produced under strict quality control conditions. Airparts specialises in duct work but also manufactures air handling and reclaim units that are bespoke designed to meet specific client needs, including off-shore (oil rig) and hospital applications. Our proprietary modular frame and construction air handling units are of the highest quality.

Envar’s commissioning team ensures that the Mechanical Services systems are set up and calibrated to maximize plant efficiency, reliability, and longevity. This aspect of our service is becoming progressively more critical as building owners become responsible for ever-increasing regulatory body requirements and energy efficiency rating schemes. Fire safety systems commissioning is also a part of our commissioning team’s expertise, with many complex systems being successfully commissioned. Commissioning is a crucial component of the overall contract; we know it is at this stage of the works that we will be judged. Envar is proud to have a solid track record of achieving high standards in both green star and NABERS rating requirements on various different projects, proving our excellence in this field.
