Your Next Choice Matters: Our Safety Focus for 2026

As teams across AE Smith, Nuvo and Envar returned to work in January, our Managing Director, Luke, welcomed employees back with a clear message for the year ahead — Your Next Choice Matters.

The 2026 safety focus reinforces a simple truth: while most jobs go to plan, when something does go wrong, it’s rarely the result of one major failure. More often, it comes down to a single decision — a moment where a different choice could have changed the outcome.

Across our business, people work in environments where risk is part of the job — on construction sites, during service and maintenance, and even when travelling between jobs. The campaign is designed to focus on those everyday moments, encouraging people to pause, assess their surroundings and choose the safest option available.

“Every choice we make can impact not only our own safety, but the safety of the people around us. That’s why safety isn’t just a responsibility — it’s a shared promise we make to each other,” Luke said.

Throughout January, branches across the Amplius Group held dedicated toolbox talks led by General Managers, creating space for open conversations about risk, personal accountability and speaking up. Employees were reminded that if something doesn’t feel right, they have both the right — and the obligation — to stop work and raise a concern, with the full support of leadership.

Over the course of 2026, Your Next Choice Matters will guide safety conversations, toolbox talks and day-to-day interactions across the Group.

Because when it comes to safety, every decision counts.
