What we achieved with our customer

As a major transport hub for North Queensland and the wider regional district, this critical infrastructure to the Queensland economy, which services military, tourism, sporting and entertainment venues, Queensland Airports Ltd has entrusted the Mechanical work to AE Smith for over a decade now.

Initially services HVAC, Refrigeration and Essential services for the satellite buildings such as Hangers, Main operational sheds, and the Administrative buildings, the team has offered a superior level of service, communication safety, whereby we were directly approached to provide pricing for the Main Terminal, being successful in acquiring this other critical asset in XXXXX.

Now, covering the entire Townsville airport precinct and with over XXXXX assets whereby the team is delivering planned and reactive maintenance and end of life asset upgrades services, the Queensland Airports Ltd has provided excellent feedback to the level of services being provided in both a critical venue plus both line side and airside, with the regulator requirements

Utilising our in-house asset management system (AMP) the team engaged Queensland Airports Ltd in XXXX to provide our customer with a tool which is able to use a Common Data Environment, in a live platform to enable the end user (typically the customer) a live platform to monitor and assess all assets. Of equal importance within AMP is the ability for our customers to access the Asset Lifecycle Modelling features which are available to assist with capital forecasting and budgeting process, years in advance and with our live application algorithms, enables modelling at any time of the day or year.

A further recent innovative solution was engaging and working with the customer in relation to multiple and ongoing issues associated with the Chillers, when we were engaged to perform services at the Terminal. Our innovative and engineered solution results in zero failures subsequent to installation, in addition to providing an energy savings to the customer.
