The Client

Health NSW is one of Australia’s largest and most influential public health bodies, responsible for delivering healthcare services across the state. With a remit that spans dozens of major hospital sites, Health NSW oversees the operation, coordination, and continuous improvement of technologically advanced medical environments.

This project was delivered by Nuvo, part of the Amplius Group, as part of our ongoing partnership with NSW Health, spanning over four years. That relationship is founded on trust, proven delivery, and in-depth understanding of healthcare operational needs. Over multiple engagements, Nuvo has become a critical partner in standardising AV solutions across Health NSW facilities, driving consistency and systemwide improvements.

What we achieved with our Customer

Nuvo AV was engaged to deliver a standardised and compliant AV solution across multiple Health NSW hospital meeting rooms. The objective was to ensure a seamless and consistent user experience while aligning with HMMR (Health Meeting & Media Room) standards. This was essential to address long-standing inconsistencies in AV quality and reliability across the network.

Our team deployed secure, HMMR-certified Crestron Teams Meeting Room solutions, ensuring alignment with Health NSW’s stringent AV and IT compliance requirements. Each room was equipped with integrated digital scheduling panels to improve visibility and booking efficiency. These installations were carried out with meticulous planning to ensure zero disruption to patient care or staff operations.

By coordinating closely with clinical teams and facilities management, Nuvo scheduled works outside of peak hours, minimising onsite disruption. Simultaneously, the project required extensive collaboration with Health NSW’s IT department to navigate complex network security protocols and integrate the AV systems safely into the hospital’s digital ecosystem.

Post-installation, each upgraded room showed a marked improvement in reliability and usability. AV-related issues were dramatically reduced, and hospital staff reported a consistent and user-friendly experience across all upgraded sites. This project further deepened the trust between Health NSW and Nuvo, reinforcing Nuvo’s position as a strategic AV partner.
