Nuvo Group was founded in 2001 in Melbourne, Victoria, with a mission to deliver smart, dependable electrical and technology solutions for commercial and industrial environments. We began with a focus on the Health and Higher Education sectors, where safety, compliance and technical performance are critical — and quickly earned a reputation for reliability and results.
From these strong foundations, we’ve grown into one of Australia’s most trusted names in integrated technical services, delivering high-performance electrical, communications, and smart systems across complex, high-stakes environments.
Bigger Reach, Deeper Commitment
In a strategic step to broaden our building services capabilities, Nuvo became part of Amplius Group, joining forces with fellow infrastructure leaders AE Smith and Envar to provide seamless HVAC, electrical, and technology integration under one national platform.
At the same time, Nuvo assumed responsibility for a significant portfolio of critical commercial electrical and audiovisual contracts from Downer Engineering — specifically in New South Wales and Victoria. These contracts transitioned into the Nuvo business, strengthening our capability in key metropolitan markets.
Importantly, a large number of skilled Downer Engineering staff in NSW and Victoria also joined Nuvo, ensuring continuity of service, client confidence, and deep operational experience.
