Due to continued growth within our Sydney branch, we are seeking applications for Maintenance Technicians / Mechanical Fitters to join our team, operating on the Sydney Opera House.
The role:
We are looking for our next Maintenance Technician to operate on our Sydney Opera House team. The role will be servicing and maintaining Stage Machinary within the Opera House itself - working on a rotating shift roster between 7am and 1am. It will include:
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform scheduled servicing and inspections across assets and site infrastructure to ensure continued safe and efficient operation. Identify and escalate issues promptly to the manager for effective solutions.
- Breakdowns & Repairs: Respond to machinery breakdowns, carry out fault diagnosis, and complete repairs in a timely manner, in order to keep stage machinery systems operational.
- Equipment Installation: Assist with the installation and commissioning of new equipment and modifications to existing assets.
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant trade qualification required (e.g. Mechanical Fitter)
- Proven experience in a Maintenance role, working alongside client representatives
- Familiarity with mechanical systems i.e Winch assemblies, Chain Hoists
- Ability to read technical drawings and use maintenance manuals
- Experience using CMMS/preventative maintenance systems
- Work at Heights, EWP ticket, Dogging and Rigging desirable
Working Hours
- 76 hours per fortnight, full-time on a fortnightly roster
- Shift hours are 07:00 – 16:30
- Roster covers alternate weekends
- Overtime available subject to approval (paid at agreed overtime rate)

Summary:
Based in Hawthorn East the Treasury Accountant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the business, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cashflowmanagement, reconciliations, and statutory reporting.
Responsibilities
- Monitor daily cash positions and ensure adequate liquidity for business operations
- Prepare and maintain short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts and monitor banking transactions.
- Process and oversee electronic payments, receipts, and bank reconciliations
- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including payment processing and cash receipt allocation.
- Perform bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare and process journals and financial reconciliations.
- Assist with BAS, IAS, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations.
- Manage expense reporting systems (Concur) and related reconciliations.
- Support third-party payments, employee deductions, and superannuation processing.
- Assist with audit requirements and financial reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements and system testing (SAP Cloud).
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements
Must Haves:
- Previous experience in a Finance Officer, Accounts Officer, or similar accounting role.
- Strong understanding of AP/AR, reconciliations, and banking processes.
- Knowledge of Australian tax and statutory reporting requirements (BAS, payroll tax, super).
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and expense systems such as Concur.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines.

As a Service Delivery Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our dedicated HVAC team, ensuring that we deliver exceptional service and support to our clients. Your primary focus will be on overseeing all aspects of HVAC contracts and supporting the management of all Maintenance, repairs, upgrades, and project execution while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and compliance with industry best practices.
Must haves
- Certificate III in Air conditioning & Refrigeration OR Electrical
- 3+ years within Service Management, Account Management, Service Supervision or Service Delivery Management within an HVAC, Electrical or Multi-trade environment
- Experience estimating and delivering works - repairs and small works over $100k
- Experience in dealing with large scale clients as first point of contact
- Valid driver’s license with no restrictions
