Recognising International Women’s Day Across Amplius Group
This week across AE Smith, Nuvo and Envar, our teams came together to recognise International Women’s Day and reflect on the contribution of women across our business and our industry.
The 2026 International Women’s Day theme, “Give to Gain,” speaks to the power of sharing knowledge, backing others and creating opportunities that strengthen individuals and teams alike. In technical and trade-based industries like ours, progress is built through collaboration, mentorship and the confidence to step forward. This theme resonates strongly across our workforce.
Coming Together Across the Business
Teams across multiple branches marked the week with morning teas, creating space for conversation, connection and recognition. These gatherings provided an opportunity to pause, acknowledge the women contributing across engineering, refrigeration, service coordination, scheduling and operations, and reinforce the importance of building inclusive and supportive workplaces.
Midweek, we also hosted a workshop webinar, “Courageous Conversations,” delivered in conjunction with Women & Leadership Australia. The session focused on practical tools to navigate challenging discussions with confidence and clarity — an essential capability in leadership, project environments and high-performance teams. The workshop encouraged participants to approach conversations with integrity, respect and self-belief, reinforcing that strong cultures are built through open dialogue.
Women of Amplius – In Conversation
To further recognise the week, we launched our Women of Amplius – In Conversation spotlight series, sharing the stories of four women across our brands whose journeys reflect resilience, growth

Continuing the Conversation
While International Women’s Day provides a valuable moment of recognition, the conversation continues beyond a single week. Across Amplius Group, we remain focused on creating environments where people are supported to grow, develop technical expertise, speak up with confidence and pursue leadership opportunities. Through mentoring, training, apprenticeships and leadership development initiatives, we are committed to strengthening opportunity across our workforce.
As this year’s theme reminds us, when we give — through knowledge, support and opportunity — we all gain.
