Ripples of Connection

Ripples of Connection

Commissioned by Amplius Group | Created by Maurahbai Mundraby

A Story of Connection, Legacy and Shared Purpose

As part of the evolution of Amplius Group, we commissioned Indigenous artist Maurahbai Mundraby to create a collection of artworks that reflect the identities of AE Smith, Nuvo and Envar, while celebrating the connections that bring them together.

Titled Ripples of Connection, the collection comprises three individual artworks — Becoming Light, Sacred Persistence and Currents of Connection. Together, the artworks tell a story of connection, continuity and shared purpose, while recognising the unique histories, strengths and journeys of each business.

The Story Behind the Collection

Ripples of Connection reflects the interconnectedness of Country, community and heritage. Across the three canvases, recurring visual elements move between each artwork, symbolising relationships that extend beyond individual spaces and connect into a greater whole.

The collection can be read as three separate journeys strengthened through connection — much like AE Smith, Nuvo and Envar, which retain their own identities while moving forward together through Amplius Group.

Throughout the collection, Maurahbai explores the convergence of innovation and tradition, bringing together old knowledge and evolving approaches. Through this creative dialogue, the artworks honour a sustainable legacy — one that is grounded in care, responsibility and continuity while looking towards future generations.

This perspective closely aligns with the Amplius philosophy of Further Together and our value of Better Future Together. As a business, we are committed to creating better outcomes for our people, our customers and the communities we serve. Through our belief in Better Buildings. Better Future., we recognise that meaningful progress is achieved through collaboration, stewardship and a shared responsibility to create lasting positive impact for people and the planet.

Like the pathways that connect each canvas, our journey is strengthened through connection — building on strong foundations today while creating a better future together.

Becoming Light

Representing AE Smith

Becoming Light explores themes of growth, renewal and positive change.

Flowing pathways and circular forms symbolise people coming together through support, partnership and shared journey, while green tones reflect wellbeing, hope and future possibility. Gathering places represent community and connection, while layered patterns reflect the accumulation of knowledge and experience over time.

The artwork speaks to the importance of building strong foundations while continuing to evolve, grow and create positive impact for future generations.

Sacred Persistence

Representing Nuvo

At the heart of Sacred Persistence sits a central gathering place representing people and community as the foundation of Country.

Flowing pathways extend outward, symbolising connection, movement and the relationships that support people throughout their journey. Dot patterns reflect ancestral knowledge and continuity, reinforcing the idea that history is carried forward rather than left behind.

The artwork reflects resilience, belonging and the enduring value of knowledge, culture and community in shaping the future.

Currents of Connection

Representing Envar

Currents of Connection explores the relationships between people, place and environment.

Interconnected patterns, gathering places and pathways symbolise community, shared identity and continuity, while floral motifs represent growth, life cycles and a deep connection to the natural world. The flowing composition suggests ongoing movement, evolution and the strengthening of relationships over time.

The artwork reminds us that caring for people, place and future generations are responsibilities that remain closely connected.

Further Together

While each artwork tells its own story, together they form Ripples of Connection — a collection that celebrates identity, connection and the power of shared purpose.

The collection serves as a reminder that progress is built through relationships: between people and place, past and future, knowledge and innovation. It reflects the belief that while individual journeys are important, greater outcomes are achieved when we move forward together.
