What we achieved with our customer
AE Smith has been servicing and maintaining this contract since 2013 with only one disruption to the customers national procurement division pursuing a national single source provider. Unfortunately, this lasted less than a year before we were requested to work on site again, over 5 years ago now.
Our local focus and commitment to service and maintain a local iconic communication provider is testament to the relationship we have built and the technicians high level of customer services spanning over a decade.
Our technicians have adapted to the growth within the facility and the customers increased footprint and hours of operation as the Corporate has consolidated and invested within the Far North Queensland Region and in turn Townsville.
Our team covers all preventative and reactive works, in addition to any capital upgrade requirements through-out the facility and its expansion over the years.
With the critical nature of the assets and a corporate procurement focus on ensuring the maximisation of uptime of key assets, our regular maintenance routines and our After Hours Response times of less than 2 hours are critical in the delivery of our service to the Townsville Bulletin.
Our engineered solutions through capital upgrades such as our DX equipment solution, has delivered a reduction in asset failures as well as a double digit percentage reduction in after hours call outs.
With the heat load and length of operational time utilised in both Server room and press room, with over 1000 kw of process cooling our team have managed the delicate balance between asset performance, maintenance, asset uptime and energy savings, a testament to both the operational and engineering teams within the AE Smith business.
