At the Navitas campuses – Elizabeth Street and Taylors College, CBRE oversees facilities operations to ensure seamless academic delivery for international students. Navitas is a leading global education provider delivering pathway programs, university partnerships, and language training for international students.

For over seven years, CBRE has partnered with Nuvo to manage and maintain audiovisual systems in more than 80 classrooms and lecture spaces across both sites. These environments demand high uptime and consistency to support modern teaching needs, and Nuvo has remained a trusted AV provider, offering responsive service and forward-thinking technical guidance.

What we achieved with our customer

The project was centred around ensuring long-term AV reliability across over 80 teaching spaces through quarterly preventative maintenance and strategic technology upgrades. Nuvo’s preventative program included:

• Cleaning and testing projection equipment
• Firmware updates for control systems
• Troubleshooting audio issues
• Replacing outdated or faulty components.

Recognising the limitations of legacy projection technology, Nuvo spearheaded the transition at Taylors College from traditional short-throw projectors to modern interactive touchboards. This transformation significantly enhanced the functionality and interactivity of teaching environments, aligning with contemporary pedagogical needs.

Nuvo also addressed the complex challenge of AV consistency across disparate room layouts. The team deployed adaptive solutions and optimised control systems to ensure uniform performance, regardless of room configuration firmware updates and proactive audio enhancements contributed to reduced service call volume and increased classroom reliability.

Throughout the project, Nuvo coordinated closely with CBRE and Navitas to ensure minimal disruption. All works, including system upgrades, were executed during limited downtime windows. This allowed for a seamless transition to improved AV solutions without interfering with the student timetable—a key success factor for the client.
