AE Smith at the FMA QLD Corporate Golf Day 2025

CARINDALE, QUEENSLAND.

The annual FMA QLD Corporate Golf Day once again brought together professionals from across Queensland’s facilities management sector — this year at the scenic Pacific Golf Course in Carindale on Thursday, 7 August 2025.

AE Smith was proud to be part of the day, both as a hole sponsor and as competitors on the fairways. Our team of four — Tim Preston, Brendan Harper, Tim Willis, and Alexander Davies — took to the course, while Jake McCarron and Elliot Small represented AE Smith at the sponsored hole, welcoming players and joining in the fun.

With signage, flags, and a marquee set up, the pair greeted golfers throughout the day, handed out branded goodie bags, and kept the atmosphere lively. The goodie bags — complete with AE Smith golf balls, tees, sunscreen, towels, and tote bags — made for a handy kit in the Queensland sun.

The day wasn’t just about swings and putts – our own Tim Willis also took home the prize for correctly guessing the number of tees in the jar 🏆.

The FMA QLD Golf Day once again proved to be more than just a sporting event. It brought the industry together, encouraged new connections, and gave participants the chance to catch up outside of the usual workplace environment.
